Vitamixblender users, beware.
The Ohio-based brand is recalling nearly 570,000 blending containers and blade bases because they can cause dangerous lacerations.

According to a notice from theUnited States Consumer Product Safety Commission, roughly 569,000 parts are subject to recall.
Thus far, Vitamix has received 27 reports of hand lacerations, including 11 reports from the 2018 recall.
These parts are also sold separately, as sets or bundles, in various configurations.
