However, sports drinks contain higher levels of sodium that children dont need.

“These sodium levels can be harmful and increase the risk of high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease.

They might suggest a simple blood test to determine the cause of your symptoms.

Just do so in moderation so you don’t consume more sodium than you need.
