The surprising twist is the use of easy-to-find cream cheese instead of traditional mascarpone cheese.
Marsala wine, Baileys, dark rum, Kahlua, or Frangelico are all great swaps for the bourbon.
For a non-alcoholic version, use two teaspoons of vanilla extract for added depth and a sweet fragrance.

Dip 6 ladyfinger halves in espresso for 5 seconds, turning to coat.
In each of 2 (12-ounce) straight-sided glasses, place 3 pieces in an even layer.
Top with 1/4 cup raspberries.
Spoon about 1/3 cup cream cheese mixture over raspberries.
Repeat layers, ending with cream cheese mixture.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours and up to 2 days.
Grate desired amount of chocolate over top of each tiramisu using a Microplane.
