What Is the Baroque Bob?
The Baroque bob is an “it bob,” says stylist Heather Rutherford.
Think Downton Abbey, with their ornate finger curls, but brushed out smooth and some 90’s volume.
That doesnt necessarily mean other hair types cant work.
Rutherford explains that this haircut can also work with fine hair if using the rightbody-building mousses.
Talk to your stylist about upkeep in advance.
Well-placed layers should grow out in a subtle, flattering way.
If you know you will go longer between cuts, consider softer, more blended layers.
Is This a High-Maintenance Cut?
Shorter bobs are more work than longer ones.
No-Heat Styling
Where this cut becomes a little more high-maintenance is in the styling.
However, you might give yourself some days off from styling without compromising.
Use dry shampoo in the interim to give it shape.
I think curlers are a girl’s best friend with this one, says Rutherford.
She also recommends using a curling iron for the same effect.
Here’s what Rutherford says to do.
