Ingredients
1cupsemisweet chocolate chips
1cupheavy cream
4tbspunsalted butter, cut into 1-Tbsp.
Reduce heat to medium-low to maintain a simmer.
Place a medium heatproof bowl over simmering water, making sure water doesnt touch bottom of bowl.
Stir together chocolate chips and cream in bowl.
Cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is glossy, 5 to 6 minutes.
Remove bowl from saucepan.
Add butter 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring until fully incorporated after each addition.
Stir in vanilla and salt.
Pour chocolate mixture into piecrust.
Let cool to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
Refrigerate, loosely covered, until ganache is firm, at least 4 hours and up to 12 hours.
Preheat broiler with oven rack about 2 inches from heat.
Broil pie until marshmallows are golden brown and toasted, 15 to 30 seconds.
Tip: For cleaner slicing, coat your knife in cooking spray first.
