Just earlier this week, certain packages ofbottled waterandcarrotswere recalled from stores in multiple states.
Unfortunately, ground beef is one of themost frequently recalled foodslinked to disease outbreaks.

So far, 15 cases of E. coli have been reported.
E. coliis a potentially deadly bacteria commonly found in the intestines of people and animals, among other places.

Illness can last a week and symptoms can develop within three to four days of consuming contaminated food.
In the most severe cases, kidney failure or even death can occur.
