What Is Kosher Salt?

Kosher salt typically comes from underground salt deposits, then undergoes a refining process to remove impurities.

What Is Sea Salt?

Sea salt is sourced from the evaporation of seawater, either through solar or mechanical means.

In this process, sea salt retains minerals, which affect its flavor.

Depending on where the seawater comes from, the salt could have subtle flavor differences.
