Theres no rule that you have to peel garlic the exact same way every time.

I tried a few different methods, and heres what I liked best.

Then, youll allow the garlic to cool and peel it as usual.

The method is fine if youre struggling with tough peels, but it doesn’t feel super necessary.

This seems dependent on the size and freshness of the garlic clove, as well as your garlic press.

I love my garlic press, but it wasnt consistent with this method.

This is my typical method, and I concur that it is the best method.

This method is efficient, uses only one tool, and the cleanup is quite easy.

Sometimes, a viral hack is just content, and the old-school methods are solid for a reason.
