Fresh corn will havekernels that are plump and firm.
Avoid any corn that looks dried out and never go for pre-shucked corn for freezing.
Frozen corn, both on the cob and in kernel form, lasts safely for up to a year.
So, while you dont have to blanch corn on the cob before freezing it, we recommend it.
How to Defrost Frozen Corn

The easiest method with the best results is to thaw your frozen corn in the refrigerator overnight.
