Keep your microfiber cloth in pristine condition with these maintenance tips.

The fibers are electrostatic so they attract and hold dust, offer gentle abrasive action, and are lint-free.

Fabric softener is another no-no when it comes to washing your microfiber cloths.
It leaves a film on fabric that will render the fibers less absorbent.
Stay away from chlorine bleach, as well, as it can damage microfiber and ultimately ruin your cloths.
Finally, dry your microfiber cloths on low heat to prevent damage, or skip the dryer entirely.
The fibers in the cloths can melt if exposed to heat.
Removing the dirt will prevent scratching on surfaces when you use them the next time.

Rinse and Hang Dry
Rinse the cloths in clean, cool water.
Wring them out thoroughly, then hang them to dry.
Because microfiber cloths are so efficient at cleaning, they are also prone to picking up lint.
To soften microfiber towels, add a cup of vinegar to your washer or basin when you wash them.
After many uses, microfiber towels tend to become stiff and scratchy.
You should only need to replace your microfiber cloths every couple of years.
