These salty, smoky, sweet nuts are perfect for a flavorful and nutritious snack.
If walnuts aren’t your go-to snack yet, they should be.
But what’s better than a snack of plain walnuts?

Be sure to let the nuts cool completely before diving in; they’ll crisp up as they sit.
Feel free to sub in pecans or almonds for the walnuts if you prefer.
Ingredients
1egg white
3tablespoonshoney
2teaspoonssmoked paprika
2teaspoonskosher salt
.50teaspooncayenne
4cupsraw walnut halves (about 12 oz.)
Directions
Preheat oven to 300F.
Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk egg white, honey, paprika, salt, and cayenne in a large bowl.
Add walnuts and toss to coat.
Spread walnuts on baking sheet.
Bake until mostly dry but a little tacky, 20 to 25 minutes.
Let cool completely, about 30 minutes.
(Walnuts will crisp up as they cool.)
