Unlike our lungs, our skin doesn’t breathe in the sense of exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide.
However, our skin does need oxygen delivered via blood circulation to stay healthy, he says.
So, in that sense, well-oxygenated skin is healthy, ‘breathing’ skin.
