This pretty pink cocktail is the perfect balance of fruity, tangy, and tequila-y.

The agave syrup adds sweetness and complements the juice while mellowing out the tequila.

Switch the cranberry juice for pomegranate juice, if desired, and garnish with pomegranate arils instead of cranberries.

Cranberry Margarita

Ingredients

1smallnavel orange

2tsp.kosher salt

3Tbsp.

(1 1/2 oz.

)tequila blanco

2Tbsp.

)cranberry juice cocktail

1Tbsp.

)orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier, triple sec, or Cointreau)

1Tbsp.

Reserve remaining orange for another use.

Prepare glass:

Place salt on a plate.

Rub orange wedge around rim of a rocks glass.

Place glass upside down on plate and twist to rim with salt.

Fill glass halfway with ice.

Cover and shake until cold, about 10 seconds.

Strain into prepared rocks glass.

Garnish with orange half-wheel and a few frozen cranberries.
