Store-bought pizza dough and a couple of cans of chopped clams already get you halfway to dinner.

Then youll stretch the dough and whip heavy cream just to thicken it slightly before spreading on the dough.

Be sure to sprinkle the pizza with lemon zest before serving to balance the richness of the pie.

Ingredients

26.5-oz.

Stir together clams, parsley, oregano, garlic, and crushed red pepper in a medium bowl.

Whisk cream in a separate medium bowl until thickened but not yet holding peaks, about 1 minute.

Stretch pizza dough into a large circle or oval on a floured surface.

Transfer to a large, lightly floured baking sheet.

Brush dough with oil.

Spread whisked cream over dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

Spoon clam mixture over cheese.

Bake until crust is browned and cheese is melted, 7 to 10 minutes.

Top with lemon zest, more crushed red pepper (if using), and a drizzle of oil.
