Level up this classic treat with a few creative toppings.
If elegance isn’t your top priority, try sprinkles or other chopped-up candies.
If you dont have a microwave, melt the chocolate in a makeshift double boiler on the stove-top.

Add the chocolate and stir until melted, reducing the heat if necessary.
Ingredients
1cupbittersweet chocolate chips (about 6 oz.)
Stir in the coconut oil.
Transfer the chocolate mixture to a relatively narrow glass or measuring cup.
Slice the apples:
Slice the apples 1/4-inch thick.
Sprinkle immediately with toppings.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until chocolate is set.
