If you recently purchased a carton of eggs, you better check your refrigerator.

The recalled eggs were distributed to retailers and food service locations in Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Illnesses from this particular recall started between May 23, 2024, and August 10, 2024.

No deaths have been reported, but 24 of these cases required hospitalization.

These can include eggs from the Tonys Fresh Market and Milo’s Poultry Farms brands.

These symptoms can include fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.

The FDA urges anyone who purchased these eggs to not consume them and throw them out immediately.

If you have any symptoms of Salmonella after eating eggs, contact your healthcare provider right away.
