So why not kick off winter with a clean andorganized home?

If you’re worried you dont have enough time, you shouldn’t be!

Winter doesnt technically begin until December 21.

But before you dive into the nitty-gritty of organizing, its best to begin by decluttering.

Here are eight things to consider decluttering before winter arrives.

Plus, she adds, by limiting excess, youre teaching lifelong skills of intentionality and mindful consumption.

According to Green, “This can help them grow up valuing quality over quantity.”

Candles

Green says its a smart move to declutter your candle collection before the holidays arrive.

When people know youlove candles, youre likely to receive them as gifts," she says.

This way, they can find a new home where theyll be enjoyed.

If you have holiday candles left over from last year, burn those first before starting new ones.
